That is really strange!  The pestat obtains username and jobid from the 
squeue command.  Do you get this information from "squeue -t running"?

I wonder which version you have of awk/gawk and bash?

The job timings are printed by pestat if you use the -S, -E and -T 
options.  See help info by "pestat -h".
