[slurm-users] Not accepted jobs generate emails about failed exit state

Hi,

submitting a job which requests 1 task and 40 cores to a partition where each node has only 20 cores gives the error:

sbatch: error: Batch job submission failed: Requested node configuration is not available

which is expected. Nevertheless I get an email about the failed job and the job counter increases.

Is this intended?
