Interesting. That was not my experience, unless you were also rotating the keys or moving from a much older version. We were upgrading from 0.5.15 -> 0.5.18 and simply upgrading and restarting munged was sufficient and caused no issue. That said we have not rotated our munge keys but will be doing so at our next regular maintenance which is known to be disruptive.
the same here - we upgraded on the compute nodes first. it seems to have just worked. Regards magnus
