I am currently implementing a service to monitor for jwks key rotation. If a change is detected, the jwks file is updated. Is it enough to use “scontrol reconfigure” to reread the jwks file? Or does it require a full restart of the slurmctl daemon?
Which version of Slurm are you running? From 23.11 “scontrol reconfigure” will restart the slurmctld. See page 43 of https://slurm.schedmd.com/SC23/Slurm-SC23-BOF.pdf
