Hi, all,

[2nd attempt at sending this. Apologies if it becomes a duplicate.]

Hoping someone can help.
Can anyone explain to me why *sreport cluster utilization *reports a
completely different usage to the one reported for root when *sreport
cluster accountutilizationbyuser* is run for the exact same period. Below
is a redacted printout of both commands.

[xxxxxxxx at yyyyyyyy ~]$ sreport cluster utilization start=2021-06-01
> end=2021-07-01 -t hours

I would expect the 2 numbers highlighted in red to be the same. In fact,
that is what we see for most months, but for June, it isn't and I can't
make heads or tails of it.

I am aware that the documentation says (
https://slurm.schedmd.com/sreport.html#SECTION_REPORT-DESCRIPTION):

> Note: Reservations created with the IGNORE_JOBS flag are not tracked in
> the Cluster Utilization report due to the fact that allowing any
> current/active jobs to continue to run in the reservation introduces the
> possibility for them to be accounted for incorrectly.

However, I don't see any reservations in the database for that period
(which is confusing in itself, because *sreport cluster utilization* reports
70,572 hours as "reserved", and even if that was the issue, the numbers
don't add up, i.e. the difference only 50k hours).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks,
Hugo
