Thank you very much for taking you time to help me.

Here are the versions of the listed software:

Distro: Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS
Kernel: 4.15.0-59-generic x86_64 GNU/Linux
systemd: 237-3ubuntu10.25
SLURM: 17.11.2-1build1

So, you guessed right, Alex.

Do you think I should compile the last SLURM version instead of using the
default one from Ubuntu packages?

Is there anything wrong in my configuration?

By the way, the absolute path of the last two configuration files are:

/etc/slurm-llnl/slurm.conf
/etc/slurm-llnl/cgroup.conf
