[slurm-users] Signal handling from scancel

We have an user who wants to send signals to his jobs via scancel -s 
option. Has someone done that, or, are there some good pointers to this? 
The point what I am missing is how to pass the signal from slurmd on the 
node where the job runs to the user application.
