Thanks

I have not yet been able to get logging to work on the nodes its always a zero length file.

However  while I'd fixed slurm.conf on the nodes I'd missed the controller and had to rebuild a node so now I have 4 nodes as expected.

Thanks

regards

Steven

You don't often get email from hearnsj@gmail.com. Learn why this is important
Tail -f on the slurm controller logs

Log into a computer node and tail -f on slurmd log as the slurmd log is started
Or start slurmd in the foreground and set debug flag

Hi,

I did that,

[root@vuwunicoslurmd1 slurm]# sinfo
PARTITION AVAIL  TIMELIMIT  NODES  STATE NODELIST
debug*       up   infinite      0    n/a
[root@vuwunicoslurmd1 slurm]#

I am assuming the controller should see the compute nodes as well?
