<div dir="ltr"><div>Hahaha, there is no decent coffee in the United States anyway.</div><div><br></div><div>If you can get some (I'm not sure it is sold there), canned coffee is a decent substitute. Other than that, Coca Cola has lots of caffeine in it, and I am sure there are vending machines on campus (ok, maybe Pepsi, but as far as caffeine is concerned, it doesn't matter).</div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Tue, Jul 4, 2023 at 9:36 PM Bjørn-Helge Mevik <<a href="mailto:b.h.mevik@usit.uio.no">b.h.mevik@usit.uio.no</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex">I've signed up for SLUG 2023, which is on Brigham Young University. that "coffee is not provided on campus, so be sure to get your morning<br>
caffeine before arriving."<br>

Following a whole day of lectures without coffee when you're jet-lagged<br>
8 hours and have spent 15 hours travelling, is not going to be easy, so I<br>
thought I'd bring a thermos flask and get it filled with coffee in the<br>
hotel or in a coffeeshop.<br>
<br>
But now I discovered <a href="https://dancecamps.byu.edu/content/byu-honor-code" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://dancecamps.byu.edu/content/byu-honor-code</a>,<br>
which says "no smoking or drinking of alcohol, coffee, or tea is<br>
permitted on the BYU campus, though other caffeinated beverages are<br>
allowed."<br>
<br>
So, any suggestions for "other caffeinated beverages" I'd be able to buy<br>
and bring with me to the sessions?<br>
